Somehow we missed this great review of the Wi-Fire from December.  But then again, the Wi-Fire has enjoyed so many great reviews!

The conclusions are worth noting:

“… the performance on this thing is quite amazing and through our minor tests, it is easy to see that it easily outperforms any stock wireless module found in any netbook in today’s market.”

“Drivers for the Wi-Fire are also solid, it is simple but there is functionality in its simplicity unlike some software that is generic and not meant exactly for the intended product.”

One thing that I think reviewers of the Wi-Fire notice when they test in Windows is the absolute simplicity.  Other adapters use onerous proprietary interfaces to connect to their drivers.  This uses a lot of disk space and it uses even more memory when in operation.  But Wi-Fire very simply makes use of the Windows functions to connect to our drivers.  The end result – half of the disk space and only about one-third of the memory usage.

“To say this product met our expectations would be an understatement; the Wi-Fire is definitely one of the best buys on the market in terms of USB Wifi modules. Especially for business users that demand better speeds or connections in their field of work.”

And that was when the Wi-Fire was at a $59 retail price – but we’ve just passed our gains on to you and now the Wi-Fire is priced at only $49 retail.

To be absolutely fair, the reviewer notes that it is not 802.11n.  But the Wi-Fire is meant for distance and contrary to popular belief, 802.11n is NOT distance capable.  Wi-Fire already beats all 802.11n products in distance and in speed at weak signal strengths, which come with distance.

More and more reasons why Wi-Fire has become, and remains, the Long Range WiFi Adapter of choice around the world.

If you depend on Wi-Fi while on the go, for work or pleasure, for the best in performance and ease of use, nothing beats a Wi-Fire.
