Wi-Fire – The Solution When Your Internal's Out of Range!

I thought this post gave a good line-up of reasons you’d want to get a Wi-Fire:

“I have been reading a lot of positive reviews on this product. The manf. claims that this USB device will pull in a WiFi signal as far away as 1000ft. There are a few independent videos on YouTube showing how it works.

I’m thinking about buying it ($59.00) and giving it a try.
My office is located directly behind a Kentucky Fried Chicken, if I walk halfway to the chicken shack with my laptop, I can get online using their WiFi, but as soon as I set foot back in my office I lose their signal. My employer monitors our web usage so I only visit authorized websites pertaining to the job. I’d like to be able to get my Cloudy Nights fix during down time in the office.

I know that I could buy a Broadband card but I don’t want to pay $60.00 per month and sign a two year contract when I am just 2 or 3 hundred feet from a free access point.

Has anyone tried this or a similar device with good results ?”

What are those basic reasons:

  • Just out of range, cannot get connected where you need to be, when you want to be connected
  • The only alternative is a cell data card with the enormous monthly fees.

The originator of the post above shares a lot with many other types of users – the recreational and business traveler, the municipal Wi-FI user, as well as the University Student.  They often find themselves in deadspots.  They don’t want to pay an extra $60 a month just to avoid those deadspots.  On the other hand, they either cannot sit and browse from their favorite spot – or the spot where they need to be at the time - and they need to resort to wandering around looking for a better signal.

Not with the Wi-Fire, the world’s Long Range Wi-Fi adapter of choice!  If there’s a “whiff” of a signal anywhere nearby, the Wi-Fire will pick it up and give you a strong connection.

So, get a Wi-Fire and enjoy freedom from frustration.
