Is Technology Tearing You Apart?

This is a very serious matter.  The New York Times article follows the lives of several families and how our dependence on technology, and especially the internet, is impacting their lives.  Crunchgear‘s headline, ‘Always Being Connected Is Ruining Our Way of Life’, summed it up well.  Our dependence on always being connected – on Twitter, Facebook, back to the office, with every person on earth that we know – is threatening our time commitments to our families – or it can if you allow it to.

Some people just have too much pressure in their lives and too many demands.  Many need to adopt effective time management techniques.  A simple trait of many successful people is to make a to-do list every day.  Ben Franklin not only made a to do list, he made sure he included social and relaxing periods as well as work.

This is not a matter to be taken lightly.  But in all seriousness, our Customers tell us that the Wi-Fire has a positive impact on their time management.  Many business people, real road warriors, tell us that having the Wi-Fire - with the benefit of its long range - and being able to connect in more locations when they need to, has saved them up to 2 hours per day, making time for other important events in their lives.  We’ve had photojournalists tell us that the Wi-Fire saves them precious time as, whenever they could not get a wired connection, they needed to park in the city and run into the press building.  Their cell phones, even 3G, could not handle the high-res photos they needed to send.  But with the Wi-Fire - the long distance Wi-Fi adapter - they just stop nearby, send up the high-res photos from wherever they can stop for a few minutes, and are on their way to their next assignment.

People around the globe, including business and recreational travelers, home and office users, and university students, have reported the same benefits.  The Wi-Fire provides longer range and better connectivity in more challenging situations – saving time, money and frustration.
