Okay, so they’ve also used the popularity of the Wi-Fire to inject links to their lines of hair styling products.

But, if you’re not interested in those and want to stick to the Wi-Fire, they make it very clear.

Keep in mind we had a recent price reduction from $59 down to $49 in order to keep passing on our own savings and success to our partners.  And this review was certainly written before that announcement came out, although just now published.  But, here’s what our Top Models had to say:

Finally, our Top Models got the 802.11n thing right while many experts who don’t take time to test Wi-Fire versus 802.11n just don’t get it – to paraphrase, unless you’re transferring large files locally, it doesn’t matter. 802.11n is not for distance! It delivers high throughput at VERY short ranges. It’s great for that. But wherever you encounter weak signals, or even no signal that you can see, Wi-Fire is the device you need in your travel bag, or at home, or around the office. Keep one in your glove compartment while you’re at it – who uses it for gloves any more anyway?

If you depend on Wi-Fi while on the go, for work or pleasure, for the best in performance and ease of use, nothing beats a Wi-Fire.
