That’s what Austin’s Premier Macintosh Users Group has to say about the Wi-Fire!

More and more Mac User Groups are testing the Wi-Fire and reporting to their members that the Wi-Fire is a great tool for those times when you have weak signal conditions.

Please see the full review but here are a few snippets:

“Installation is fast and painless, with easy directions supplied in the box, and on the website.

“… under the Finder’s menu-bar, you pull down to select your preferred network. SHOCK — there are soooooo many. It’s like tuning a shortwave radio for the first time –– there are so many to choose from.

“The improved reach is startling. Speeds close in are improved – and the  signal strength and quality indicators are a huge plus when it comes to fine-tuning the antenna for the optimum signal. … any way you look at it –– the improvement is dramatic.

“With a suggested retail price of less than $50.00 – the Wi-Fire is a no-brainer for road-warriors, students, and those mobile travelers who seem to rove from access-point to access-point to get their work done.”

“Overall – the Wi-Fire is an amazing and inexpensive tool for most anyone needing to pull every bit of signal they can out of the air.  The technology, hardware and software, and installation manual are superb at twice the price – and the patient and expert customer support was impressive.  Anyone who considers Wi-Fi a necessity should own a Wi-Fire.”

Well that’s a good part of it, but it’s another great review with good observations worth mentioning.

Two corrections to typos should be mentioned for everyone’s benefit:

1. Wi-Fire works with Mac 10.6, 10.5 and 10.4 as well as Windows 7, Vista and XP and Linux.
2. Wi-Fire works with MAC address filtering. Each adapter has an individual MAC address which you must insert into the wireless routers MAC address filtering tables through the admin page.

Just more reasons why Wi-Fire has become, and remains, the Long Range WiFi Adapter of choice around the world — and a lifesaver for many Mac users.
