Every so often, we like to take a few of the great comments we get from Customers and post them.  They do make us feel good.  And they’re good testimonials.

But also, they give new Customers good examples of where the Wi-Fire is used and what they can expect.  So, here we go again:

Here’s one Wi-Fire user who would also like one for his iPad – something we can’t comment on at the moment:

“I am an avid Wi-Fire user and I promote it to friends and colleagues constantly.”

This one came from a Customer in Australia who was just floored that it performed so much better than his 802.11n adapter:

“Guys I just bought a Wi-Fire …  and it works awesome, I have a ADSL2+ connection and I do realise that the Wi-Fire is a “g” adapter … but my transfer speeds from the Wi-Fire match the speed that my internal “N” adapter is performing at in my Dell Studio 17 laptop (only at a greater distance). And my laptop is less than 5 metres from the router inside the main house and the Wi-Fire is about 30 metres away outside in a lined shed. I highly recommend them. It was economical and I had it in just over a week.” (that’s shipment from the US to Australia remember. hField provides great service and ships within 1 business day!).

As we try to remind everyone, 802.11n is only “high performance” at relatively short ranges. And it is actually highly susceptible to interference.  The Wi-Fire connects to “n” routers and it beats n products at distance and it beats them in speed at distance. Not that n is bad, but it’s place is high speed at close proximity – the Wi-Fire’s place is long distance, weak signals, obstructions and high interference – all places the Wi-Fire excels.

Now, here’s a Scottish example that was the subject of it’s own post.  This Customer was so excited by the performance of his CE version (a European requirement) Wi-Fire that he actually did some tests and mapped it out for us.   Take a look at the post for details but here’s a little of what he said:

“I am very impressed with the Wi-Fire. I tested wireless using my built in adaptor and a wireless dongle which never found any wireless networks. I then plugged in the Wi-Fire and found over 30 wireless networks. The distance the Wi-Fire reaches far exceeds the 1000 feet.”
